Impatient Minglanilla Cop threaten the 2 woman who visited the police station. This is very unusual event for the cop that suppose to protect the civilian where threaten right inside the police station.

Luckily, Cebu Provincial Police Office Director Carmelo Valmoria ordered the reassignment of PO3 Glenn Burlas from the Minglanilla Police Station to Tuburan last Thursday.

Burlas was accused of berating and threatening two women inside the Minglanilla Police Station when they tried to file a complaint.

“Kamo, makigkontra mo nako? Sisiw ra mo. Ayaw mo patuga-tuga, bisag asa pa ta magkita, anad nako bisa’g asa pa labay. Duha ra mo ka bala,” the women quoted Burlas as saying.

Maribel Caballero and her mother, Priscilla already filed an affidavit to the Public Attorney in support of complaints they will file before the Internal Affairs Section and the Office of the Ombudsman.

Through this event, we believe the Minganilla police should launch a PR campaign to clean their image and restore the lost glory in eyes of the people of Minglanilla.
