There are so many cases of dengue disease in Minglanilla but the local government as well as the provincial school do not have any immediate solution for this. So make your kids safe, always bring OFF lotion and screen the school.

Minglanilla, Cebu councilor faces charges for shooting of 2 minors

Minglanilla Councilor Ramsi Sayson is facing charges of reckless imprudence after the Regional Trial Court of shooting two minors in 2006, sunstar reported.

Thecomplainants Judith Bariquit, Jade Laurente and couple Julito and Ma. Elena Basnillo, which are the relative of the victims who were hit.

According to the investigation, Sayson should be charged of violation of Article 365 of the Revised Penal Code.

The son of former chief justice Hilario Davide now Cebu City Councilor resign his post as City Councilor to serve as chairman of the political party that will campaign for the Aquino and Roxas candidacy in Cebu Province.

He is also rumored to run for gubernatorial race of Cebu Province this coming 2010 election. In his speech he humbly gives his sincere thanks to the member of the Cebu City Council. Davide wanted to bring back the “harmonious relationship between the two (Cebu City and province) local government units of Cebu.” If this thing happens the much awaited LRT will run from north to south in the coming year.

What is impressive in this guy is that he resigns voluntarily in his post to avoid confusion and conflict of duty within government offices. If you can remember that there are some politician handling cabinet position at the same time serving as Senator. That is a violation of the principle “YOU CAN NOT SERVE TWO MASTER AT THE SAME TIME" which everyone i believed will agree. In simple term we call this Power Hunger Mania.


This young politician also believed that the Aquino Roxas leadership is the best ever assembled national leader since both have uncontested integrity, knowledge and experience plus technical skills in trade industry and technology.

The US Navy have new killing machine. They considered as the fastest battle ship in her size. US has many other ships but this one is consider as the fastest ship for chasing pirates and drug dealers. It is known as Independence - LCS 2 which pass the test in the sea of mexico gulf.

The new ship can travel at 80+ kilometers per hour. It's now faster than SKYGO motorcycle whose fastest speed is only 80km hours and sound is already alarming.

The expected completion and distribution of this ship will be next year. However, before it actually send for service it need to pass a series of combat mission similar to graduating officers in the Arm Forces. We can expect now that this ship is somewhere in Pirates infested location somewhere in Africa..

Cebu Province VS Batangas Province Volleyball Challenge

Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos attended the opening event for Gov. Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup. While the crowd wow the by the dancers from University of Cebu for a powerful opening dance performance, Ate Vi said she is impressed with the tournament and thinking of the possibility for a best of the best volleyball challenge between Batangas and Cebu in the future. The latest online writing said the Batangas province is also conducting a provincial level volleyball cup the same with Cebu.

The Cebu Province vs Batangas Province Volleyball Challenge is expected to happen in the near future as Vilma Santos got interest in meeting the two teams. This thing if happen could begin the National Volleyball Tournament organize by Governors. Let us wait for the press release of these to female governors.

The Minglanilla team won a decisive victory against well prepared team of Dalaguete Town with the score 25-15 and 25-12. Even there are only 6 players present in the opening game, the Minglanilla Town managed to beat its first prey. Most of the Minglanilla players are working while other are still engaged in CESAFI. CESAFI is also Provincial wide sport athletic competition.

Minglanilla Volleyball team frequently practiced at the Sports complex and sometime inside Minglanilla Badminton court during rainy season.

The Badminton Tournament will open this coming December as the badminton court is still under construction. The facilities has now 3 courts in international size. The wall is covered by green plastic to allow light to come in while in prevent air for interrupting shuttle cock.

The local counselors will provide the mechanics and awards for this coming inter barangay tournament. There will be D and E category for all the participants while a separate 40 and above is open too.

Cebu City Gov't Brighter than Provincial Gov't- Nalzaro

Nalzaro, a known critics of both political leaders said that he is not happy to compare the 2 leader from Cebu City and Cebu Province.

A Keyless Lock for your Family Safety

Two weeks ago, two neighbors of mine in Minglanilla Springwoods just next to our house was robbed. The two houses are locked for the family is in weekend travel. Both families arrive at the same time and day and found that their house was open and they lost valuable things. How the robbers got in. Apparently the door lock was not forcedly open so it means the robbers use master key. The worst thing is that they were robbed the same night and most probably less than 10 minutes interval.

I was awake that night playing computer games particularly the Age of the Empire when it happens. I heard our dog barking but it is only once so it did not merit my time to look on my neighbor’s house. What worry me now is that our house in Minglanilla might be the next target. This incident prompted me to look for new door lock technology. Since the robbers are now high tech then I must find a way to safeguard our house. What comes to my mind now is a keyless lock. This should be a door lock that does need keys in which robbers apparently have inventory of keys in this town.

What should be I benefit for a keyless lock? This lock should be open by a family member only. It should not be a number combination that my 4 years old baby boy will not worry about. I have a mountain bike that until now has chain lock in it simply because i forget the number.

While surfing the internet i found this keyless lock technology known as Biometric locks which use fingerprint identification as the primary locking mechanism. This technology if I am going to trust should be dependable and of course for a lower level family here in Cebu, it should be affordable. Axxiss Biometrics, the manufacturer of the keyless lock or finger print activated lock said the technology is normally used in business establishment, They reproduce it for a house hold consumer since they believed that the security of your home is more important the security of the office.

I also found out that this keyless lock can also determine or configure the time and date of allowable access of certain person in your house. It means it is good if you have visitors. We sometime invited carpenters, laborers in house if we are having problem with leakage and termites.

The next thing I need to know is how to install and configure it. Reading through its sites information, they said it easy and smooth to configure. It is like user friendly graphics user interface in our computer term. So what if I got trouble will installing the products, I got to have the customer service and they should provide us like what the Philippines call center customer service where the employees stays 24/7. This call service should be technically good and easy to understand. At least the supplier pledge its affordability and quality service so I will try one and let your know its product review later.
