Hundreds visitors watched the latest Paquiao - Cotto fight last 3 week ago. Everybody cheers for Pacman as expeceted. When the National Anthem of Puerto Rico was played, you can see and hear in the big screen that they are cheering for the Anthem.

What disappointed me is that when the Philippines National Anthem was played, viewers from Minglanilla did not cheer the song. What a sad reality that Filipino's are no longer proud of our national anthem.

Manny Pacquiao coach Bob Arum reminded him that he should be not too confident against Miguel Cotto as their fight is near. The two will meet on Nov 14 at Las Vegas, Nevada.

Last month, Bob Arum get anger against somebody from Pacquiao team because of delayed practice and too much showbiz appearance. As a coach who have coming fight in just 2 months, my worried will be the same.

Bob Arum said Cotto could be the biggest Pacquiao fight in his entire career. His reason are  specific and real. Cotto is far bigger than Paquiao, Cotto have deadly left hook like Pacquiao and he moves well too like Pacquiao does in the ring..

The badminton club of Minglanilla is now back after almost 1 year of absence.The players was temporarily adopted in Naga Town but now after the construction of the badminton court, the team is ready once again.

Badminton players in Minglanilla are class D level owing to the schedule of work. Nevertheless, this sports serves it purpose which is health and enjoyment.



The Membership for 1 year is only P100 pesos and the entrance fee every time you play is P5 only. The 5 entrance fee is for the cleaners mirienda.



All Minglanillahon and nearby residence are welcome to this club. Of course as long as you pay the necessary fees.

Cebu Province VS Batangas Province Volleyball Challenge

Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos attended the opening event for Gov. Garcia Unity Volleyball Cup. While the crowd wow the by the dancers from University of Cebu for a powerful opening dance performance, Ate Vi said she is impressed with the tournament and thinking of the possibility for a best of the best volleyball challenge between Batangas and Cebu in the future. The latest online writing said the Batangas province is also conducting a provincial level volleyball cup the same with Cebu.

The Cebu Province vs Batangas Province Volleyball Challenge is expected to happen in the near future as Vilma Santos got interest in meeting the two teams. This thing if happen could begin the National Volleyball Tournament organize by Governors. Let us wait for the press release of these to female governors.

The Minglanilla team won a decisive victory against well prepared team of Dalaguete Town with the score 25-15 and 25-12. Even there are only 6 players present in the opening game, the Minglanilla Town managed to beat its first prey. Most of the Minglanilla players are working while other are still engaged in CESAFI. CESAFI is also Provincial wide sport athletic competition.

Minglanilla Volleyball team frequently practiced at the Sports complex and sometime inside Minglanilla Badminton court during rainy season.
